During your first-cycle studies, you are required to complete 3 full courses (3×30 hours) as part of specialized seminars. Please note that you can also choose from the so-called small seminars (15 hours each). If you choose a course of 15 hours, you must also select a second “small” seminar (also 15 hours), so as to complete a total of 30 hours.
Specialist Conversations of 30 hours = 3 ECTS; of 15 hours = 2 ECTS.

CONSULTATIONS
The subjects in the study program are divided into 4 main groups:
- specialized lectures covering theories of archaeology in the field of humanities and natural science research
- specialized conversations on research on ancient communities and their culture, technology, monuments, etc.
- master’s seminar
- methodology of archaeological prospection and methodology of excavation research – field practice including research at archaeological sites

Please note that during the summer semester, there are also so-called small seminars (15 hours each) available for selection. If you choose a course of 15 hours, you must also select a second “small” seminar (also 15 hours), so as to complete a total of 30 hours.
Specialist Conversations of 30 hours = 3 ECTS; of 15 hours = 2 ECTS.
