The authors focus on soil transformations that occurred from the Neolithic period, through the Bronze Age, to the Early Middle Ages. Evidence of these changes comes from palaeosols discovered beneath monumental Neolithic tombs, Early Medieval burial mounds, and \u2013 likely dating to the Middle Bronze Age \u2013 circular barrows from the vicinity of Muszkowice in Lower Silesia and Lwowiany in Upper Silesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study contributes to the understanding of soil-forming processes in this region, examined in the
